Computing Interest

I have always been interested in computers and computing since I was a young lad when my parents bought me an Atari game console.  I quickly progressed to a Commodore 64 and then Commodore 128 when I was in primary school and learned to code in BASIC.

High School

These were then supplanted by my first PC when I started in high school where I took Computer Studies as an extra-curricular subject from my third year.  During my final year of high-school (1991) I taught myself to code in C, all the while reading 30 fiction novels (I'm an avid reader).

Afterward

I went to "technikon" (technical university) in 1992 and 1993, but never completed my 3-year diploma, but went on to do some short courses in C, C++, an Object Oriented Programming, and then straight on to work in mid 1994, until now, and beyond.

I love what I do, and I do what I love.
